2MC Anti-Net has moved

The 2MC Anti-Net has moved:

The 2Meter Crew will now be getting together for the Anti-Nets on Wednesdays at 18:30 hours on the W6VVR repeater, 145.470, minus offset of 600KHz and a PL of 127.3 Hz.

Thank you to the Vaca Valley Radio Club for letting us use their repeater for the Anti-Net. I also moved the start time back to 18:30 hours so I can make it home to the shack as I can't hit the VVR repeater on the commute home.

A big thank you to Nick KN6DAL for help laying out the Anti-Net rough agenda and volunteering to be part of the Anti-Net coordinator crew.

Boo hoo - can't hear the W6VVR repeater in Sebastopol. The anti-net has gone silent to me.

Darv, VVRC also has a 440 repeater in Fairfield linked, try this.

Well we had a good turnout for the Anti-Net tonight a total of 18 check-ins. Thanks to everyone that participated, there was a lot of good discussion around feed lines, baluns, and stopping interference. I wanted to say thank you much to the Elmers that shared knowledge and answered questions especially WA6CDE and WU1Q.

A couple of reference sites that were given out was M0UKD.com and Ham Universe for info on baluns, torrid etc.

Let me know if anyone has any comments or suggestions for the Anti-Net.

Due to popular demand the Anti-Net will be sliding back to a start time of 7:00pm on Wednesdays. Hopefully this will let a few folks get home and settled in before the Anti-Net gets started.

HEY CARLOS!!!

I'm ALL IN FAVOR OF FINALLY MOVING THE (TIME) OF THE "ANTI-NET" TO 7:00PM INSTEAD OF 6:30PM BECAUSE EARLIER WE'D EAT SUPPER @ 6:30PM!!! NOW WE'LL BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE COMPANY OF ALL THE REST OF THE "BOYZ !!!" @ a more advantageous time!!!

2metercrew Anti-Net updates: Due to popular demand, and because I can't seem to make it home on time, the Anti-Net will now be starting on at 19:00 hours on Wednesday nights. There will not be an Anti-Net on Christmas Day.
